Enter our Patio Table Art 2026 Contest and you could win $1,000!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Summer’s nearly here and to kick it off, we’re bringing back our hugely popular Patio Table Art Contest!<\/span><\/p>\n

We are now accepting entries from all interested local artists, 6 of whom will be chosen to go through to compete for a $1,000 first prize! Each of the chosen 6 artists will paint a patio table with a supplied theme. At our Summer Kick-Off Event on Sunday, May 24, 2026 each piece of artwork will be judged and voted on, with the winning artist receiving $1,000 and $500 going to 2nd place! All 6 tables will be showcased on our patio on Church Street throughout the patio season.<\/p>\n

If you would like to be considered for one of the six places available, simply complete the form below with your details along with three examples of your artwork, and submit it by the end of the day on Sunday May 3, 2026. <\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Each artist will be supplied with a wooden patio table top to be painted at the pub over the period from Friday, May 8 – Friday, May 22, 2026.\u00a0 The back room (Library) at the pub will be provided to each Artist over this period (with time slots pre-agreed between pub management and the artist for up 15 hours over 3 days).\u00a0<\/li>\n
  2. Each artist will be given a “Theme” at random to base their table top design on.\u00a0 The themes are: Guinness; Local VT Geography\/Flora\/Fauna\/Symbols; Local VT Food and Beverage; Local VT Sports; Local VT University \/ University Life and Burlington City \/ Church Street.\n
    Further specific examples for consideration \/ guidance will be provided to the Artists once the Themes have been allocated.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  3. Each artist will be provided with $$ for art supplies.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/li>\n
  4. The Winner and 2nd Place will be decided on through a combination of judges and public vote on the afternoon of Sunday, May 24th, with the artwork being displayed outside of the pub on Church Street.\u00a0<\/li>\n
  5. The table tops will remain property of R\u00ed R\u00e1 Burlington, and become part of the patio space set up for the Summer.<\/li>\n
  6. By entering the competition, participants agree to abide by these terms & conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
