{"id":7481,"date":"2018-10-31T21:44:18","date_gmt":"2018-10-31T21:44:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rira.com\/burlington\/?p=7481"},"modified":"2018-10-31T21:48:38","modified_gmt":"2018-10-31T21:48:38","slug":"run-santa-run","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rira.com\/burlington\/pub-talk\/run-santa-run\/","title":{"rendered":"Run Santa Run"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Annual R\u00ed R\u00e1 Santa Run!<\/p>\n<p>Race your way onto Santa&#8217;s &#8216;nice&#8217; list by taking part in the annual R\u00ed R\u00e1 Santa run, the biggest in Vermont on Sunday, December 2nd at 10am.<\/p>\n<p>Every runner gets a Santa suit, commemorative medal, free Irish breakfast courtesy of R\u00ed R\u00e1 and the Hilton Burlington, and entry to an awesome after-race award ceremony in the pub.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Proceeds from the event benefit Camp Ta-Kum-Ta, a year-round camp for kids with cancer located in South Hero, Vermont. Runners are encouraged to collect pledges and donations to further support the camp. For locals and visitors alike, the run is a great way to experience Burlington as the course offers views of historic Burlington, Church Street, Lake Champlain, and more.
