Manage your Account with the 'Local by Toast' App

Like a huge number of local businesses across the country, our loyalty program is managed by Toast, the market leading point-of-sale (POS) software system designed specifically for restaurants. Through Toast, your data and payments are subject to the highest security standards in the world. Toast has developed an App called "Local by Toast" to help guests of participating restaurants on the Toast platform to manage ALL Toast loyalty programs in one place. No need for separate Apps for each of your favorite local restaurants, you can see them at a glance in this one App! If you prefer not to use the "Local by Toast" App, you can still check your balance, view or update your personal and payment information by clicking the "Check My Account" link above!

You only need to provide your phone number to sign up for the Loyalty Program. Once signed up, you can provide your birthday if you want to earn the birthday reward, and your email address, if you want to receive special offers via email.

Yes, you can sign up at the location with a member of staff and earn points on your first order that same day.

You can sign up online on our website, by clicking on the "Join the Loyalty Club" button/link above! You can also sign up via the QR Code placed on tables in the location.

Yes. You can access your Loyalty Account information, including balance, via the “Local by Toast” App (which can be downloaded on Apple or Android phones) or via the “Check My Account” button/link (above!) on our website. Your points information will also be at the bottom of your payment receipt, and your Server can also look this information up at the location.

No purchase is required to sign up for the loyalty program, but without a purchase you will need to sign up online via the QR Code at the location or via our website.

Upon enrolling, Toast will send you a text message, which contains information about the Loyalty Program, a link to your unique eLoyalty Card and a points balance summary. You can access your digital Loyalty Card directly from the “Local by Toast” app, when viewing the restaurant.

At any point prior to paying the check, let your Server know you are a member of the Loyalty Program. Your Server will then apply your Loyalty Account to your check. To do this, your Server will need to know either your phone number (as associated with your Loyalty Account), or your eLoyalty Card Membership Number (which can be found on the “Local by Toast” App). Your Server may be able to look up your Loyalty Account with other information, but these ways are the most efficient.

No. Points can be earned/redeemed on all food items, with the exception of items from the Party/Event Menu(s). Points can also be earned/redeemed on non-alcoholic beverages, but cannot be earned/redeemed on alcoholic beverages. Points can also not be earned/redeemed on merchandise or Gift Cards (although if you use a Gift Card for payment, points will still be earned on eligible items).

No – you earn 1 point for every $1 spent on eligible items.

Yes, once signed up, the 100-point bonus is applied to your Loyalty Account. This Bonus gets you halfway to unlocking your first (200 point/$10) reward.

Yes, if your Loyalty Account is applied to your next check, the Birthday Reward will automatically be applied to that check. If your Loyalty Account is added via a linked payment (credit/debit) card, you will be asked if you want to redeem your Birthday Reward.

No – there is no expiry date with Loyalty Account points.

No – only points earned here, can be redeemed here, on eligible items.

If signed up on a check using a payment card, that card is automatically linked to your Loyalty Account. That payment card will be linked and apply to your Loyalty Account for all transactions moving forward. You can also add (or delete) more than one card to your Loyalty Account online via the “Local by Toast” App or via the "Check My Account" link on our website. Using a new payment card on an existing account, will also automatically add that card to your Loyalty Account.

No, you cannot stop a payment card from being linked to the applied Loyalty Account during checkout. When you use both a Loyalty Account and a payment card, the card is automatically linked to the Loyalty Account. All associated payment cards will appear in your online Loyalty Account information (found via the “Local by Toast App” or the "Check My Account" link on our website), where they can be either verified or removed by you. However, to prevent unintended rewards redemption, only the first payment card used is active by default, any other linked cards must be manually verified by you to be used for future rewards.

Yes. To stop receiving Toast SMS notifications, you need to reply “STOP” to the text message you last received. You can also disable push notifications from the “Local by Toast” App on your phone. To stop receiving all Loyalty communications, you need to contact the restaurant location to deactivate or delete your account.

No. Instead of contacting the restaurant, you can have your account deactivated or deleted by contacting Toast’s Guest Support Team to request account deletion via the Toast App or by sending an email to support@toasttakeout.zendesk.com.
