The local, family owned business was established in 1954 by husband and wife who taught agriculture and biology in the local high school. The Whitmore family has been farming and raising cattle since the mid 1700’s.
In the fresh, beautiful surroundings of Brasstown, NC, their cows live on and eat grass their entire lives. 100% grass-fed, raised without hormones or antibiotics. Brasstown Beef has been recognized for its sustainable farming practices and continually strives to improve the quality of beef to provide the best product.
