Coming soon—🎤 Open Mic Night every Sunday at 7pm! Hosted by Dave Jacquet, the mic is open to all, just bring your instrument or voice.

FAQ’s:

Who’s the host?
The host is local musician, David Jacquet. Dave is here to make things easy for you.  You don’t have to be a professional to perform. This is an open mic, it’s therefore open to all. Those pros we all marvel at? The odds are really good they started at open mics. We’d love to have you with us, and if you want to talk about your performance after for pointers, we’d love to help. If not, that’s great too! Just, please join us.

How do I get on the list?
Talk to the host! Dave is usually there at least a half hour before it starts.

Do you accommodate bands?
Bands are tricky from a noise level standpoint. I recommend connecting with Dave earlier in the day so that we can figure out what makes the most sense.

…but can we jam?
Yes! You’ll see that many of our musicians call other musicians to come join them during their set. We love those collaborations, and we’ll find someone who will jam with you 🙂

What do I need to bring?
Bring your instrument and your voice. If your instrument needs a specific cable, please bring it to be sure.

I don’t play an instrument, can I still partake?
Yes! One of us probably knows the tunes you want to sing, or we have some tunes in common, and we’ll back you up with live instrument(s). We’ll do the human karaoke thing! 🙂

I’d like to sing to tracks that are on my phone…
We’d be happy to have you do that. A couple of things that I would recommend: bring a dongle that goes from your phone to a cable compatible with a normal PA – an XLR cable or an instrument cable. And make sure that the tracks are downloaded to your phone, in case wifi were to not cooperate! Either way, please do talk to the host early so that we can provide the best solution for you.

I don’t sing, but I play an instrument…
…then one of us will be happy to either welcome you to their set, or to sing for you while you play. Talk to the host!

Can I bring my personal mic?
Absolutely! While we do clean up microphones in between each performer, you are more than welcome to bring your own. Please note that if your mic needs phantom power, it can be accommodated, but share that info with the host so we can get you up and singing as fast as possible.
